Hey there! It’s time to meet another member of the Credit Karma team! Last week, we introduced you to Greg, our director of marketing, analytics, and communications.

Today’s interview features Danielle, our business development operations manager. Danielle is definitely one of the nicest people you could meet. Once, I was lamenting that none of my pens worked, and she gave me one of her own fancy pens! She also gave me some cool toys to keep at my desk after I expressed my fascination with them.

The Interview

What’s your title at Credit Karma?
Business Development Operations Manager

Describe in 25 words or less what you do.
I support the Sales and Business Development team in all day-to-day activities. That includes maintaining existing partner and affiliate relationships, as well as managing compliance on Credit Karma and throughout the Credit Karma Affiliate Network.

How long have you worked at CK?
I started in September 2010. It’s been a great 2 ½ years!

What’s your favorite thing about working at CK?
Witnessing the evolution of a truly innovative site. I’ve watched our team grow from 15 people to over 50 in the past two years. I love getting to work with new team members as Credit Karma continues to develop into something bigger and better.

What’s your favorite snack in the CK kitchen?
Mini Almond Joys.

What is something your coworkers probably don’t know about you?
I have a BA in Art History with an emphasis in ancient Roman architecture. I’m also an avid college sports fan (Go Ducks!).

What was your worst subject in elementary school?
Cursive… I haven’t written an entire sentence in cursive since 3rd grade.

What’s a secret (or not-so-secret) talent you have?
I make a pretty amazing grilled cheese sandwich.

If you could pick any superhero power, what would it be and why?
The only way I know how to describe it would be Super Mario’s “Star Power”… I think that’d come in handy walking to work through downtown San Francisco every morning.

What’s your best credit/money tip?
Never live beyond your means. Making realistic and responsible decisions today can really help you reach your financial goals for tomorrow.

Really excited that Danielle eats the Almond Joys since I’m not too fond of them,

What Customers Say:

All of your employees were knowledgeable and very courteous. And the end result was far more than I expected. Now my family and I can get into our first home, and that means the world to us.

- Gumaro M.

I first enrolled under your services on 8/23/2012 and by 9/10/12 I heard back from all 9 creditors on my credit report. With the help of your services I was able to raise my credit scores on all 3 credit bureaus 50-60 points.

- Danielle T.

I feel blessed to have been able to do find people like you and Ken that are so nice and that care about the clients. It's a hard quality to find. You treat people and relate to them in such a remarkable way, that we feel comfortable when dealing with credit problems.
