Discover It

Listening to your customer base is one thing. Implementing customer-pleasing changes into a brand-new credit card product could be a game changer.

The Discover It Card hopes to do just that, with its goal to be more consumer-friendly and flexible in its offerings. This flexibility comes in the form of a due date that you choose, human customer service, and more. There are three versions of the Discover It card, replacing the popular Discover More Card.

  • First late fee waived: If you slip up once and make a late payment, you won’t be charged a fee the first time. Plus, Discover won’t increase your APR if you pay late.
  • Cash back: You can earn 5% cash back on revolving categories (until March 2013 that includes restaurants and movies). For all other purchases, you’ll get 1% cash back.
  • Customer service: When you have a question, you can get in touch with a real person on Discover’s 100% U.S.-based customer service team.
  • Flexibility: You can choose your due date for your credit card bill and pay up to midnight ET online or by phone.

Bottom Line: Just like applying for any credit card, make sure that you check your Credit Karma Approval Odds first. (Read more about Approval Odds.) Also, read over these helpful do’s and don’ts of getting a new credit card.

What Customers Say:

All of your employees were knowledgeable and very courteous. And the end result was far more than I expected. Now my family and I can get into our first home, and that means the world to us.

- Gumaro M.

I first enrolled under your services on 8/23/2012 and by 9/10/12 I heard back from all 9 creditors on my credit report. With the help of your services I was able to raise my credit scores on all 3 credit bureaus 50-60 points.

- Danielle T.

I feel blessed to have been able to do find people like you and Ken that are so nice and that care about the clients. It's a hard quality to find. You treat people and relate to them in such a remarkable way, that we feel comfortable when dealing with credit problems.
